Last Light over Drakes Estero from Mount Vision, Point Reyes National Seashore
I photographed this scene on a day trip to Point Reyes National Seashore in January 2025. After searching for a sunset scene for most of the afternoon, I drove up to Mount Vision hoping to find a wide open vista along the road. This view appeared right around the summit. As the sun set, I noticed that the deep shadows of Drakes Estero contrasted with the warm glow on Point Reyes.
